About my services
What is the Tarot?
For many people, it means many different things. For some, it’s a means by which to channel their intuition. For others, it is a method by which to divine the future.
For myself? I use the Tarot with all its astrological, numerological, and qabalistic elements (as well as my intuition) to see into the situation at hand… as a tool for diving into our personal scheme of peresonal growth and self-empowerment.
Personally, I try to stay away from predicitve Tarot; rather, using it as a mirror to reflect the situations you encounter.
As a co-collaborator it is my goal to offer you insight without infringing on the sacred boundary between our shared experience and a person’s private, inner world. I don’t read thoughts; I can’t tell you what a person is thinking. For myself and my ethical boundaries, it’s simply too problematic.
I won’t read for others who aren’t present, and - given the flexible, fluxuating, and ever undulating nature of time - cannot say with true conviction that I am able to gaze into the future. That simply isn’t my gift.
So if you’re trying to get to the root of what it is that leaves you feeling held in the same place, unable to proceed, or unable to proceed with a true sense of agency, then I’m the reader for you!
It pains me to be approached as an all-knowing oracle, when in reality I am simply a man with a deck of cards; a whole lot of diverse, lived experience; and a true desire to harness your self-empowerment from a place of integrity and humility.
If you don’t want to answer questions to help in getting to the root of your situation, then I humbly implore you to consider another Reader. 🙏🏻
With love, and the deepst care for your mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing,
Douglas
