You and I really are on the same page. From the beginning I said essentially exactly that to her. They have a mom and I’m not asking her to be one. Now I’m looking for MY person. I think she just hadn’t stopped to really think about that side of this yet and it felt heavy to her.

Believe me my friend, if I had recourse to take it, I would. Also, you nailed it a few days ago. R has already asked to take this a bit more seriously and I told her I’m open to exploring that route. She’s now fully apprised of the W situation and said she’s willing to work with me on that because she’s a girl who knows what she wants.
