didn’t resonate with me

I’m not sure if the advisor was assuming I was seeing multiple people based on saying I needed time to heal because I asked for guidance on two different people. All I asked was if I’ve met the person I’m mean to be with already. I expressed confusion about different paths; they gave zero insight after expressing I wasn’t sure if the person was serious about me. Telling someone you see a longterm with one person without any depth isn’t very reassuring given the fact that I told the advisor we weren’t speaking currently. I wish they would have provided more clarity surrounding the situation or explained what may result in that situation if they saw a longterm anything with them. Our session ended due to running out of time.
